Features and Functions of Split System Air Conditioners

When the scorching sun is dominating outside, and humidity is making it difficult to survive, then everyone wants to go somewhere where they can find an air conditioning system. People want to get refreshed. Thus many families today opt for the split system air conditioners for their home. There are two kinds of air-conditioning systems which are window air conditioners and split system air conditioners. Apart from that, you can also find ducted and centralized air conditioning systems which are mainly used in the commercial premises. The split system ones are more energy efficient and you can easily install them in your rooms. The split system air conditioners can be placed at any wall and consist of two parts. The inner body remains inside the room which gives us the cool air and the outer body dissipates the heat from the room and departs it outside.

How would you install the Split System Air Conditioners?

Installing the split ACs is much easier than the traditional ones. Just joining the outer and inner body is needed with some wires and also tubing is needed. This air conditioning system reduces your expense and consumes less energy and thus is environmentally friendly as well. But to install such air conditioners, you need to hire some trained professionals. Most of the manufacturers can provide you with free installation services, but you need to check this facility before your place the order.

How does it Work?

In the process, a refrigerant is kept inside the compressor which causes the heat in the gas to rise. After that, the gas after being pressurized through a number of tubes is condensed in a liquid form. The liquid then passes through a number of tubes to ultimately reach an expansion joint. The liquid is changed to a gas as the pressure is reduced in the process. The gas also releases a good amount of heat and gas then again enters and passes through the compressor. The air inside the room enters the indoor unit of the machine and again enters the room through a blower. The air then circulates and keeps your room cool unless a fixed temperature is reached. By this process, a split system air conditioner works.

The Effectiveness of the Split System Air Conditioners:

The split system air conditioners can keep your rooms cool better and faster than other air conditioners and also covers a wider area. It can be used as a central air conditioning system by attaching several ductless units to a single compressor. The compressor is always ready to work and the process is less costly than others. These air conditioners may be costly but in the long run, it saves much energy and save your power consumption cost.

How would you Clean and Maintain your Air Conditioners?

The process of cleaning a split air condition is not so difficult. At first, an aircon bag needs to be placed at the bottom of the AC to collect the wastewater. They can be placed around the split AC on the wall. With a good coil cleaner or chemical solution, the coils should be cleaned and you must change the filters of the air conditioners after a certain time. With the help of a spray-nozzle, the solution can reach further, and all the blades can be covered. Then a couple of minutes should be given until the dirt particles enter the bag. Some of the water will enter the bag and some will flush away through the drain pipe. At last, the blades should be wiped along with the body to clean the air conditioners completely.

Today, you can find various types of split system air conditioners online and you can choose the best one according to their cooling capacity and energy consumption level.
